| My mother is senior citizen and owes a house by her name. We contacted SBI (lakhimpur Kheri) branch for reverse mortgage. Intially Bank manager informed that his branch is authorised to sanction such loans but later he refused saying he is waiting response from his controlling officer. He is not giving anything in writing and says its his personal desicion. we are in dire need of financial support. kindly advice how we can ger the reverse mortgage. Thanks Priyanka | |

| you can complain on the bank's official website. If you do not receive a response within 2-3 weeks, you can appraoch the Banking Ombudsman.Details are available on www.bankingombudsman.rbi.org.in. | |
