| Availed HOME loan from HDFC LTD. CHENNAI. Got initial disbursement of 8.29 lakhs cheque given to builder at the time of registration. Govt. order came in to take the land and stop construction for Airport expansion project. Builder missing no land no building but i am paying PRE EMI. i have already paid 1.4 lakhs as PRE EMI. need your advice how to PRE CLOSE the loan in installment. HDFC is not replying my query. Can i ask HDFC limited to show me the land document original. when asked HDFC branch is telling they will show xerox and the document is of no use as land taken by government . Kindly advice. I will be very much thankfull | |

| You are liable to repay the loan as the home loan has been taken. You can prepay the loan. You can of course, ask the bank for a copy of the land document original. You can put a written complaint on the bank's website. if you do not receive a response within 2-3 weeks, you can appraoch the National Housing Bank (NHB). Details are available on www.nhb.org.in | |
