Dear SAir, I have applied for apersonal loan from HDFC, but they rejected the application due to settlement of old credit card payments, but i have already cleared/settled all dues before 2 years back. Then only my name not deleted from your data base. Sir, Pls. delete my name from your data bank, if you want any details of letter i am ready to produce it. Thanks

Answer

Your name does not get removed from the CIBIL list even after making payment/ settlement. You record remains with CIBIL for 7 years. Banks consider settlement negatively hence you were rejected personal loan. It is very unlikely for you to get any loan since you have made a settlement.
