Date : Jun 25, 2008 Question Hi Harsh, I lost my credit card and I realised this 10 hours later. But by that time there was misuse of 23000 from my card. I filed a formal complait after this, as all the transaction were from mall, where CCTV cameras are placed,..But due to negligence of fruad control department ..they have not contacted their merchtise partners. Also before accepting the bills from merchantise they shud verify the signature, as wht they mention on the card" Sign the card to avoid misuse" ... Am I already in follow up for settlemnt... Please suggest Answer
Don't go for settlement. Kindly make a complaint to the bank's website as well as call the credit card customer service. If you do not receive a satisfactory/any response within 2-3 weeks, please approach the Banking Ombudsman.The details are available on www.bankingombudsman.rbi.org.in |
